Established in 1985 we have been providing East and North Yorkshire with over 40 years of professional and quality service. We are in the business of cleaning textile and specialist items, always striving to find the best way to clean products using new materials and techniques.
Dry Cleaning
Every care will be taken to ensure that we achieve the best result when caring for your personal effects. All items will be assessed and potential problems discussed with you before proceeding. We know that accidents happen and we will do our best to restore your garments to their original condition following such an event. We can often offer a same-day service if we receive the work at our main unit by 10 am Monday to Friday.
Laundry
We offer a comprehensive service that includes a high quality hand finish to all your bed linen and other items. We can wash and finish your bed-linen, duvets, sleeping bags, pillows, toppers, etc, but we do not provide a service wash option as all our items are finished to a very high standard. Two-piece Summer/Winter duvets, when brought in together, are priced at a discount. Duvets are generally returned to the customer in a breathable duvet carry bag
Workwear
We offer a comprehensive service alongside collection and delivery within our operational area (tailored to your needs, please ask). Items are cleaned using an industrial-strength degreaser where necessary. Items cleaned include: Boiler-suits Padded boiler-suits White lab coats Overall coats and jackets Aprons Hi-viz clothing Rubber-backed mats Call or email us to discuss your requirements.
Curtains
We can clean almost any type of curtains. They will need to be assessed beforehand to catch any potential problems. Curtains may be unlined, lined, or inter-lined. Some will also have bonded linings. All hooks should be removed and the curtains will be checked for fading, damage and shrinkage. Sun Damage. Where the UV in sunlight has weakened and/or faded the fabric, there is an increased likelihood of the material failing during the cleaning process. Customers must accept full responsibility for the cleaning process. Where there is no label in the curtains, the customer will be asked to accept responsibility for any colour loss and/or shrinkage.
Fur/Suede/Leather and Wax
These are categorised as specialist cleaning items and carry a heightened risk. We will assess the item and discuss the probable outcome of the cleaning process with you, so that you can make an informed decision of how you would like to proceed. We can clean and re-wax, or re-wax only depending your preference. We also offer a repair service to these. Tears can be mended and we can patch holes. Price will depend on the size of patch used and the nature of the repair. All specialist items will need to be paid for in advanced.
Repairs & Alterations
All repairs and alterations will need to be assessed on an individual basis. We can repair, replace or alter many items including, but not limited to: Trouser legs shortening or lengthening Trouser take-in and let-out Dress & skirt shortening and lengthening Dress & skirt take-in and let-out Zip replacements & repairs Zip slider replacements Popper stud replacements and much more…
